Hainan Noble Yacht Club Hotel

Haikou Hotel Noble Yacht Club Review

The Hainan Noble Yacht Club is located at No. 99 Binhai Road West, about 5 minutes west of Holiday Beach. It's in a rather remote, and peaceful location of Haikou City. To get to the city center by taxi, it will cost around $40 yuan. From the looks of the surrounding area around the hotel, it seems like that's an up and coming area that's being developed. Because the location isn't in a busy area, you will need to wait a bit for taxis to come and go, but while we were there, we never had much problems getting on taxis.

The Noble Yacht Club is a 5 star rated hotel, and we paid a very reasonable $398yuan per night, which works out to about $50USD per night. Although the hotel is rated 5 star, I've been to other 5 star hotels that was quite a bit better (although at much, much higher prices). I would say a 4 star rating is probably more appropriate... but then, what do I know about hotel ratings? =)

Noble Yacht Club Facilities

Because Haikou ocean waters aren't that "great" (unlike Sanya), for the 3 days we were there, we had a few swims in the large hotel swimming pool, which is filled with natural mineral hot spring water at a temperature of 40degrees. Supposedly, The water contains rich multi-minerals beneficial to your health.

The hotel also offers luxury yachting service to its customers, which costs $1600 yuan/hr, but when I called, they said the weather and ocean conditions were not permitting any seafaring services. Of course, even if it was available, I don’t think I would go.

There are several restaurants at the hotel - a Chinese restaurant and a Brazilian BBQ restaurant at the hotel. Chinese restaurant is located on 2nd floor of main building, while the Brazilian BBQ is located at the side of the swimming pool. The BBQ restaurant is only seasonal, and it was not open during the time we stayed there. However, the Chinese restaurant was very good, and their food was quite good.

They also provide internet service at $6 yuan per hour in your room. For credit cards, they accept visa, amex, mastercard, diners club, jcb, great wall card, and several others.

Breakfast at Hainan Noble Yacht Club

For breakfast, the hotel serves an all you can eat buffet every morning. It costs $38yuan per person, and offers various basic items such as stir fried vegetables, noodles, and rice. There are also some dim sum items including beef tripe and chicken feet, and some standard Chinese breakfast items like congee and buns.
