Chinese History - Index

Learn about the History of China and see the tourists destinations that show the history and cultural heritages of China.

History of the Ming Dynasty - The Ming Dynasty ruled China for almost 300 years, starting with Zhu Yuanzhang who was the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty...

Ming Dynasty Wax Museum - By 7:30am, we were on our way. First stop was the Beijing Wax Works Palace of Ming Dynasty.  The museum displays life sized wax figures of all the Ming Dynasty emperors, generals, soldiers, and peasants.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms - 1 To the right of the main hall is a red-faced figure called Guan Yu. He has a huge frame, long beard and deep red lips. His whole appearance looks dignified. Guan Yu was the sworn brother of Liu Bei and Zhang Fei.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms - 2 Zhuge Liang Hall is behind the second yard. It is obviously lower than Liu Bei’s. Visitors have to walk down several steps before they can get into the third yard.
