It sure was a depressing time to leave such a beatiful and fun place like Sanya Yalong Bay. Perhaps if I never went there in the first place, I wouldn't like it so much. :) But I'm sure glad we did go to Hainan Island, and especially Yalong Bay area of Sanya. It was definitely the most beautiful place around Sanya.
Early in the morning, we had breakfast at Horizon Resort and Spa hotel again, but at a different location, serving the same food. Then we went for our last walk along the beach, and took a bunch more photos of the place. We checked out of the hotel around noon, and took a taxi to Sanya Bus station.
Haikou Airport - Flight to Chengdu
I was not thinking when I originally booked my plane tickets. I book return flight to and from Haikou from Chengdu, instead of booking it to Haikou, and returning from Sanya, which would've saved us a bus trip back to Haikou from Sanya. The bus ride from Sanya to Haikou takes about 3.5 hours, and we arrived in Haikou around 6pm.

Right at the Haikou bus station, there was a restaurant called Kai Fu Lai restaurant. For convenience, we decided to have diner there. It sure was a big difference in price compared to Yalong Bay. Coming from Yalong Bay, everything seemed so cheap. Most items cost $10 to $20 yuan, compared to meals at Yalong Bay area, where breakfast costs $150yuan and items cost an average of about $80yuan. Yalong Bay spending, is comparable to spending in North America.
Our flight leaves Haikou at 9:40pm, so we headed to the Haikou airport around 7:30pm. We had a full two hours before our flight departure time, so there we had some time to kill. There was a little delay in take off due to a "busy runway" as the flight crew informed us, and we arrived at Chengdu airport a little after 12am.
