Hong Kong Disneyland

Get a Taste of Home at Hong Kong's Disneyland

Spread across 100 acres, Hong Kong's Disneyland is one of the most popular theme parks in the world. Just about everyone who visits Hong Kong will want to take a trip out to the park. It has everything you would love about the park in the States, but with a bit of Chinese flair.

Like their counterparts around the world, Hong Kong's Disneyland is divided into separate themed areas. They are Fantasyland, Main Street U.S.A., Adventureland, and Tomorrowland.

Fantasyland

In this land, you can see the famous It's a Small World ride, check out some of your favorite characters, such as Winnie the Pooh. There is some great stuff to see here, and you can be sure that it will be quite popular with the younger crowd. Quite a few of the rides in this area are great for small children. Dumbo the Flying Elephant Ride and the Cinderella Carousel are quite popular with the tots.

Main Street U.S.A.

There is so much to love in this section of the theme park. Check out the Finding Nemo animated show or watch Mickey's Waterworks Parade. One of the most popular things to see here is High School Musical: LIVE! This is also the best place for you to see the Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Adventureland

This section of the park has some thing great for everyone to see. You can take a ride on the Jungle River Cruise, and see the Festival of the Lion King. You can even raft to Tarzan's Tree House is it suits you!

Tomorrowland

You will find a ton of great rides here, including the ever popular Space Mountain, which is part roller coaster and part dark ride. Hang out with Buzz Lightyear from the popular film Toy Story, or fend off and alien invasion at the UFO Zone. Be sure to check out all of the rides in the area as well – there are quite a few gems here, such as Orbitron.

Everyone in the family will have their favorite section of the park, but one thing is for sure – you will have a great time no matter where you go in the park. Be sure to stay in the park until after dark so you can watch Dancing in the Stars. This is an incredible fireworks and pyrotechnic display set to some classic Disney tunes. It is the perfect way to end the day.
